This is the third Roku I have purchased, two are Roku 3's and one is an earlier version that connects to my old television set with RCA cables. I have no complaint about any of them and I have recommended purchasing the Roku 3 to all of my friends, two which have recently purchased them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great but miss some channels

I finally decided to give up my DirectTV and just use my Roku. I like the options but I miss the news. Some of the stations are only provided if you have a certain cable provider. If you signed up for every membership channel it could get pretty pricey. I am currently with Netflix and HuluPlus and debating on whether to purchase Amazon TV.

We bought this awhile ago for several rooms in our house. I found the units easy to set up, and we are using Netflix which has been pretty good as well.

I am not a very savvy techie but this Roku3 is slick, easy & for me flawless. It streams much quicker than my Smart TV and for the money a much better value. I would recommend the Roku3 to anyone who wants to enjoy easy, hassel-free streaming...best feature; the remote!
