Exceeded my expectations

My son recommended that I get a streamer for my Netflix subscription, and named several brands. The first he mentioned was the Roku, and I went with the Roku 3. The installation was very easy, even for this 84 year old female, and using it is also easy. I found both installation and use instructions understandable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i love having tv and only paying for internet but i wish it wsas easier to stream movies that arent all b quality

We have a 3 year old Roku and thought I would upgrade to the new one. It would not sync right with the smart tv. Only piece of tv equipment I have bought that would not work. The tech people tried but it did not help. Bring back the old style!!

Only use it for Netflix

I have found the only thing this device is useful for is for accessing Netflix on my TV. Which, is a bit of a waste of money because I could already have done that using my PS3, or Google Chromecast, or many other things...
I wish it had more free channels that were actually relevant and popular. The selection is small and of low quality.

Debated what to buy for the guest room with no cable, ROKU 3 won out after talking to the salesperson, and I am glad we went with it. Easy to setup, easy to use.

Am an Apple guy, but when I compared content and features; ROKU had the edge over Apple TV. The remote's headphone jack is a very handy addition and makes spouse happy late at night (essential). Setup is a quick and painless operation. Couldn't ask for a better product.
