Loving my ROKU !

Purchased 2 months ago and absolutly no regrets. Streams quickly and reliably every time. So glad to be rid of the satilite TV. Love the format on the home page.

No cable outlet needed

I bought the roku because I was placing a TV where there was no cable outlet for the TV. Without having to switch cable providers to AT&T, I was able to do this and watch cable TV through the Time Warner TV channel available with this. Work perfectly every time and a simple solution without having to run cable through the drywall. Also easily movable from tv to tv, which allows me to get ESPN 3 on my projection screen to get hard to find college football games

Meh... not stable enough to do what I wanted

I bought this about a month ago and it's performed fairly well but isn't very stable (constantly lags/crashes/loses connectivity with the computer). I bought it to replace the HDMI direct connection with the computer, but have mostly gone back to the cable because I can't trust the Roku to maintain a connection long enough for my daughter to watch a movie.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A BIG decision!!!

The cost of cable/dish TV just keeps going up. You must take channels you never watch to get the ones you like. My son made the same change to internet TV but has Apple. Apple does not have available the number of channels ROKU offers, nor is Apple easy to use. I love the ROKU remote. It works instantly. When asked I always recommend ROKU 3.

I bought Roku 3 about 2 months ago. I use Amazon Instant Prime, Netflix, Hulu, and Vevo for music video streaming. It's nice because I was having a hard time choosing between the Xbox One and the PS4. Now seeing as how the Xbox One has alot of apps, but so does the Roku, so I no longer need the Xbox One for that. This made it easy to choose the Playstation 4 which I think is a better all around system and has better games.

I bought my Roku about a month ago. Love all the choices I have, but for the past week while I'm watching something, it stops and says the connection is bad and try later. WHAAAT???
