We love our Roku!

We have been using Roku for approximately 5 years and have purchased a second one. We plan on cancelling our cable this year because we mostly watch movies on Roku . I have used the on-line support on two different occasions and they always solve my problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just one problem

If you want to use Roku wired the set up is tricky. You have to connect everything and call tech support to do the computer part. Why? Unless your computer and Roku can both be connected you can't verify. Tech support is great and can fix it easily. The instructions don't explain this at all.

Alot of memory to add more channels

I have had a Roku for a couple years but I was at the limit of how many channels I could put on it, so I decided to upgrade to the Roku 3 and I am glad I did I have plenty of room to add channels and the thing I like the most is the built in wireless headphones so you can watch channels on the Roku without disturbing other people, if you are a nite owl like me. Thanks for building such an amazing product.

p.s. You don't have to put this on there but there are some things I don't like about the new roku it is harder to navigate around on it unless I just have to get used to it but so far I haven't but I do like it better than the old on also why had I never saw a sale on the new Roku 3 until I bought mine I have seen sales of up to half off for reverbised ones or for new ones ten to twenty dollars off, where were those deals when I bought min

So much potential

I bought a Roku 3 player last year. I really liked the interface, the channel options and the fact that you could resume programs on Hulu. But over the last 3 months I have had trouble with consistent viewing to the 'Content Disabled' message I keep getting. Online research would suggest that it has something to do with the HDMI input but it is really inconvenient to have to restart the Roku every other time I want to use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I gave up paying high prices for Direct TV, Time Warner and Dish Network for my Roku!! Sence my purchase I am happy and so is my family the options are endless and you only pay for what you want (cheap) and also get numerouse free music and movies. My pockets feel good right now. I have refcommended this product to everyone I come into contact with. Thank you, Roku !

I have difficultly getting the sound to come thru the product... I can stream Netflix. movies etc. on my other devices with no sound problem. Not sure why it doesn't do the same with this Roku device??? Also wish it had You-tube available...Other than that I do love the item.
