Really great media streaming

I have had my new Roku 3 for several weeks now. I am impressed with the interface and the overall stability of the system. This is a great product.

Anything I add would just be redundant. This is my second Roku and I have been very pleased with the product. I had a little trouble with the remote, it wouldn't plug in just right, but Roku replaced it without any trouble and paid for the shipping. How customer service friendly is that?

Much More Than I Expected

Our entertainment budget is very minimal. With that in mind we stay at home and have movie nights or just hang out a watch TV. It was a huge step for us to cancel cable and get a Roku. We are so glad we did! I will never pay for cable again. The Roku was very easy to install. It almost installed itself! I love all of the additional channels Roku has to offer.

Great media streaming device. Remote, not so much!

The actual Roku is fabulous. Love the Apps (channels) offered. I bought this to get rid of my PS3 that I only used for media streaming. The remote works well and being able to plug in headsets is a great idea. The downfall of the wifi/bluetooth remote is that it drains your batteries in about 24 hours time. I have went through several sets of batteries in just the few weeks I have had the Roku. I have to take my batteries out every time I am done with whatever I am watching. If I fall asleep while watching tv, well forget it the batteries will be dead by morning. So unless you want to invest in some high quality rechargeable batteries I do not recommend the Roku 3 with wifi remote. Get one of the older versions of the Roku. I hear they are just fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
