So much to watch

We've been using the Roku 3 almost two months now and it works very nice and gives access to loads of material. Only major problem is no power button. Why no on/off button? I don't like not being able to shut a device off. You have to unplug it which will eventually wear out the plug. And the unit gets a little too hot after a few hours of usage. The compact design doesn't allow heat displacement.

I really liked the idea of the Roku. My only complaint is that many of the channels you can get are for a fee. Part of the reason I got a Roku was to avoid cable/satellite bills but after you pay for the individual channels you're in the same boat.
We use it daily and it's a great addition if you already have Netflix or Amazon Prime or the like. If you're using it to replace your regular tv viewing you may be a bit disappointed.

ROKU 3

I was introduced to the Roku 3 by my neighbor who purchased one. After showing me all that it does, I decided to not only buy one but I purchased two--one for my northern home and one for my southern home. It is very easy to install and can be done in a very few minutes. I was ready to enjoy the Roku 3 within a half hour. So far, there's more to offer than I have used but I hope to take advantage of all that it has to offer. Thank you, Peppy Walshj

I purchase my Roku 3 a month ago and after taking time to set up each station we were in heaven. This past weekend it quit working, after trying everything I could I just gave up and will have to try customer service. I work 6 days a week and don't have time to do this during the day time so we'll see how it goes.

I'm extremely happy with my Roku3. Plex, Hulu, and Netflix setup was a breeze. It's a definite recommend.

I put hours of research into which streaming player to buy after we ditched cable TV. The Roku3 was by far the best choice. With the simple controls, huge channel variety and great support Roku has to offer I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I haven’t thought for a second about going back to cable TV and the monthly savings just keep adding up.

Quality streaming

Amazed at the quality of the stream... HD and it's rarely ever blurry. I do wish there were more channels - maybe similar to the apps available in iTunes app store. Would love 60 Minutes channel. And would really love a channel where you could 'pay to play' live sporting events. I have Roku b/c I don't want to pay for cable, so WatchESPN doesn't offer me streaming of live events.
