Great features!

I bought this over a month ago to upgrade from the Roku2. Both are easy to use, have a remote, and upgrade automatically. The ROKU 3 offers excellent High Def on my 1080p. T.V. so definitely worth it. Add more T.V. Shows sooner/faster. Thank you!

Fantastic device

I've had this for almost a year now and it's one of the most useful purchases I've ever made. From the sheer diversity of content to the constant updates (not to mention the portability factor which makes it a great addition to vacations), it's already replaced most of my cable/satellite programming.
The recent addition of a Roku Movie/TV rental channel has sent this over the top. Now, if only individual channels like ESPN and HBO would allow purchasing of an internet subscription w/o having to already have cable/satellite, my TV life would be perfect.

It's only down side is that it lacks a native YouTube chanel, but since it's a great device you can manage to get youtube in a workaround.

Bought this 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. HD quality is excellent. I enjoy the variety of free or very cheap options to watch my shows. Excellent alternative to cable - this is the future of tv!

I brought Roku 3 about 6 months ago after I bought Roku 2 XS over a year ago because I was so impressed. Now I have a Roku for each entertainment centre

The device itself is great. We do not have cable by choice and live in a rural area where you couldn't get an antennae signal if your life depended on it. We use it for Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime primarily and have purchased accounts for each. I do wish they would have more mainstream channels available, but understand that is not Roku's fault, but the networks and cable company restrictions. Roku overcompensates by offering a plethora of undesirable to us options. B rated movies, random channels with content we wouldn't watch, etc.
