The Best Roku Yet!

I bought the Roku 3 about three months ago to upgrade from an older Roku 2XS. I use this mainly for Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and the Plex channel which allows me to watch my own movies from my Plex media server. I love all the new features as well as the faster response times. I would highly recommend this if you are on the fence.

I have bought three Rokus so far. I love the ability of the Roku 3 to bring high definition "cable" to a room that I thought was near impossible to do. My wife wanted a small TV in the kitchen/den area. Roku allowed me to put a TV there with Time-Warner Cable's app. She can now keep an eye on her favorite shows.
I am still learning of all the things Roku can do. I love Amazon Prime and being able to see many free movies. There are several music and movie apps that allow you to find any media you want. The speed and quality is fine on my 55 inch LED.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We never watch cable anymore! With Netflix and Amazon Prime we have 1000's of choices WITHOUT COMMERCIALS!

No trouble so far with Roku. 4 stars as I wished it would stream to multiple tvs specially if the TV has wifi. Also, the device may use a real on/off button on it.

Simple hook up, simple to use, a lot of bang for the buck. This is the best streaming device I've found for getting even closer to cable cutting. But there is room for improvement. Too many "channels" have to be paid for and many of those don't tell you that fact until you try to watch a movie. A big plus would be if channels had to disclose pricing before you set them up. It would also be nice if I could rename channels to state more clearly what they are are. Locking or hiding channels would also be a huge plus.

I am on my 5th Roku. My first was a Roku Lite just to see if I would like it; obviously I do! I just got a Roku 3 recently and love it [I gave my Roku Lite to my sister]. I had an issue with the Roku 3 remote but Roku's customer service is great! I would like to make one suggestion to Roku; have a way to reset or turn off the Roku without having to unplug. Thank you Roku!
