Great Product, just needs a few upgrades

I love my Roku and they keep making great updates (got the addition of streaming news and Time Warner On Demand Programming just yesterday). I use it for my cable, Netflix, Hulu & Amazon Prime and it has a great interface for all but Amazon (hopefully Amazon upgrades that soon!) My only real issues is that mirroring of my computer/phone should be standard, not something I have to add on with a private channel--- still haven't figured out how to get that to work correctly. Also, Youtube should have a channel, not sure why Vevo does and YT doesnt. I've used Twonky beam as a work around but its not always the easiest to use. But those are small complaints, I love my Roku-- great value for the money! It is incredibly easy to use, I've even recommended my tech phobic parents get one but they are still holding out.

I love my ROKU

I waited a long time but I finally got one. It has more features and more free channels then I ever thought were possible plus it's a great addition to my main TV which didn't have a Netflix hookup but now does. The one thing I wish it did have was a sling feature or app that would be perfection.

Great for Seniors

Seniors want products that are easy to operate, reliable and affordable. I use my Roku for my Netflix. I save money on Movies, that I can watch at my convenience instead of repeats on HBO. So happy with product I recently purchased a second one.

Easy Setup

I have had the Roku 2 for a year and it provides a better on-line viewing experience than the lap top I was previously using. It makes a connection to my on-line content every time I connect the TV to it. It actually displays at a higher resolution than my lap top would.

Snappy, sharp, simply great

So I had a Roku 3 before and "mistakenly" gave it away (thought it was the Roku 2...didn't pay attention)...I had to buy a replacement and even though other models are cheaper, I got this again - I find it more responsive than Roku2 HD or Roku...clean sharp display, easy and quick internet access (yup Kindle rep...my internet is not the issue), and great offering of apps...and now that MGo is available (or at least advertised as being available), things should be good. It is easy to get the device registered ...I do it from my tablet while on sofa (saves getting up to boot up the PC) and instantaneously after entering the code...I can access my Vudu collection, or Amazon Prime, or Netflix, Pandora, PBS etc...music channels, self help...now if YouTube had an app for it (but I don't miss it...)
