I bought 1 Roku 3 as test to see if my wife and I were really going to like it, we did. We liked the features and options it gave us that we bought 2 more. Now we have one for the bedroom, the living room and the den (where the TV's are). The content is great and always expanding, we get to watch news shows and old favourites, and we have yet to experience any problems. The ease of use and the amount of quality content make it well worth while.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great little Gadget

I bought this so I could get rid of my big corporate program deliverer. 50 million channels when I only watch a few and charging me for all of them. Roku gives me the flexiblity I wanted. I have Netflix & Hulu plus and additional channels that Roku serves up flawlessly. I'm a believer. I'm also thinking of purchasing another as a gift for my son because he loves it too.

I bought this several months ago and have been pleased with the ease of use and the available features, my only complaint is the lack of a YT app, I am aware of the work around but it would still be better with one. I especially like the new head phone jack it makes night viewing more acceptable in a full house.

Best Roku I've ever had

I've been saving a lot of money ever since I started using my Roku a few years ago, but throughout all these years, apps started to lag... Until I switched to a Roku 3, smaller, lighter, and blazing fast! It loads apps really fast and option to connect to earphones is great!

I Love My Roku

We've had the Roku 3 for 3 months and use it all the time. It has enabled us to move from computer screen to our 42" HDTV (not everything is HD of course). We use it, primarily, for the streaming channels that we have subscriptions to such as Netflix and Hulu +. Simple to set up. Simple to add channels. Hundreds of channels for just about any type of programming out there. Using headphones through the remote works very well and comes in handy if it's late. I highly recommend Roku, especially the Roku 3.

I got this as a gift in June. It set up quickly and easily. T he link between the handset and the box stopped working within 2 weeks. I've contacted customer service several times and they haven't been able to get the thing working .I've been sent 2 additional handsets and for some reason none have synced with the box. Haven't been able to use it and not sure what to do with the system since I can't return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The unit itself functions well and hooks up easily. What it needs is a browser. There are many free options on the internet that you can't get with Roku, not even Hulu standard. The Roku free stuff is scary bad. I will eventually buy a premium service and use the Roku unit, but for now, my repurposed laptop gets all the use.

I have to say I was simply blown away by the Roku 3. It's speed and ease of use are second to none. The UI is large an ease to use. My family and I love it. I have used many different Set top Boxes/Media Players/Android on a stick media players in the past and they simply don't hold a candle to Roku 3. If you want the best Netflix - Hulu - Amazon Video - PLEX - Media Consumption device that is attached to your TV this is it.
