Love my Roku 3

I have a Roku 2 that I enjoyed in the bedroom TV but sometimes my wife wanted a different program. So we purchased a ROKU 3 for the family room TV. I love the feature where I can use the headphones to listen without disturbing her sleep. Great programming available. I watch a lot of FOX channel and NETFLIX.

I love my Roku 3!

I've had my Roku 3 for close to six months now and I love it. I use it everyday. The pros of this device would have to be that it was easy to find in store and online, it was not expensive to purchase, it requires no monthly fee to use (although, some of the channels do charge a small fee, but you can still choose to use them or not use them. Most channels on the Roku 3 are free to use.) and I love how Roku consistently adds new channels. The only con is that I wish they carried more of the popular live TV channels. However, seeing as how they do constantly update their channels, I'm sure there is a possibility of more live TV channels in the future. I love how there is a search option on the Roku 3 so you can search for a tv show, movie, or actor. Overall, it has been a great purchase that I will enjoy for years to come. I would highly recommend this to a friend, a family member or give this device to someone as a gift. It's worth it.

purchased ROKU 3 about 2 months ago and I am loving it. We use it exclusively (along with a digital antenna) for all of our TV viewing. Love the earphone in remote control feature. That allows you to watch TV right next to somebody else who is sleeping. It is a great feature ! It is a snap to setup too.

Easy to use, great functionality

I had an early Roku and sent it back for Logitech's Revue. It was fine for a year or so, but I grabbed the Roku3 when it came out so that my kids could use it more easily. The Revue was not functional for kids. I've been very impressed with the 3's speed, ease of use and improvements. I really like the addition of M-Go as well. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Great Device, Remote design is awkward

It works very well. Its much faster than the older models. HOWEVER, I prefer the button design of the older remote. The new one is confusing. The "OK" button isn't in the center of the arrows. It is below the arrows, so you have to move your thumb. It's not ergonomic at all. Therefore it takes much more time to navigate.

We've had the Roku 3 for about 2 months. It does exactly what we want. It allows us to stream movies and shows, despite our relatively slow download speed of about 1 Mps. It looks like a great alternative to satellite. I

Watching movies and TV shows, and listening to music through my home entertainment system has never been easier. Roku has plenty of media options for mainstream and niche interests, and as long as your Internet speed is sufficient, you'll have a high quality experience.

Superlative Hardware

Hardware quite exceptional. Issues are the sources. Very difficult to get stations with no advertising. USB port easy to use, as is Twonky to play back short internet videos.
