Fantastic quality

Bought 1 month ago, and every evening look foreward to watching quality tv series and movies on my roku! Just hope that certain channels like hulu and bbc player will soon be available in canada.

From someone new to media streamers

Previously watched movies streamed wirelessly to my MacBook Pro connected to my Fujitsu hi def TV with HDMI cables. Tired of connecting and disconnecting I bought a Roku player and now watch everything on my TV with the Roku, which is fantastic. I use Amazon prime and Hulu plus. Total of $15 a month, that is all I need to pay to watch tons of stuff without ads. I don't watch cable TV with ads, so this is perfect. It is my video equivalent to Spotify, which gives me music 24 seven without ads. ($10 per mo) Perfect, no ads for me during video or audio. Set up was the easiest set up I have ever used outside of my Mac computer equipment. 3 minutes total.
A friend at work commented that with her brand-new TV she can connect her Internet to it directly. As my Fujitsu TV is an early model, for the price of $99 for the Roku 3, now I have all the convenience of the newest TVs at my fingertips. Well worth the investment. But you have to buy an HDMI cable if you don't have one.
An earbud Jack built into the Roku remote along with a pair of earbuds included lets you watch and listen to shows without bothering others around you that may not be interested. A nice touch. I recommend this for what it claims to do, which it does perfectly.

I love the Roku 3. IT is super easy to use and has seemingly infinite apps for anything you want to watch. It works really well and never gives me any issues. I have had it for eight months now and it has been the best piece of new technology I have purchased in years. I highly recommend this item.

Brought the Roku HD and 3 after cutting off the cable expensive service barely was watching. Discovered Roku by accident, after research purchase right away.

All I Expected and More!

We do not have TV reception at my location but we do have internet so my son suggested a Roku box. We have a Netflix subscription and I thought this would be an easy way to view movies. I did not expect the ease of using the device, the simple set up, and the tons of FREE channels. We can now easily keep in touch with the news and other current events without having to use the computer. I highly recommend this device.
