Roku3 is by far is the best streaming device in the market. It's simple operate, improves picture quality over other devices.

1080p does not seem to work.

I have enjoyed my Roku 3 for the most part but there two things that have lowered my rating. The first is the issue I have with the Roku settings. I have a tv that supports 1080p but to get movies to play on my tv I have to set 720p in my Roku settings. This kind of defeats the purpose of having a Roku with 1080. Second issue is with the content disabled message. Sometimes I will turn my Roku on and will receive a hdcp unathorized access, content disabled. The only way to get rid of this is to unplug the device and let it sit unplugged for a while. Other than these two issues, it has been a good device.

Everything I was looking for

4 months in, I absolutely love my Roku. It gained a star when Netflix Profiles was added in November. We cancelled cable and I got Roku. I have access to everything I want through Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. I got an antenna for any sports or live events that I want to watch. I also love that I am able to connect my external hard drive with all of my movies without a problem. This was my primary goal when looking for a box like this. The only issue I have is that I frequently have to restart my router (once a day), but this may have more to do with my router than with the Roku. I recommend this to everybody I talk to.

This is my second Roku and I cannot believe how easy they both were to set up. The simplified remote is great and the selections on my Netflicks and Amazon Prime subscriptions are leading me to cancel my cable subscription.

I watch what I want, when I want. Roku and a leaf antenna are all you need to access everything without a huge cable bill. And with new channels coming all of the time, I love it even more.
