Great Product

I streamed thru my DVD player for a year or so before I bought my first ROKU. What a difference. I now have 2 ROKU's and hardly watch TV other than streaming. It is fast and easy to use for an old timer like myself.

I bought this as a christmas gift to myself. After the holidays are over, I plan to purchase another one for my TV upstairs because my children has taken it away from me. This is a fun product for the entire family at a great value! I save money without the burden of a monthly cable bill and that interm cause the Roku to pay for itself. This is the product I have been waiting for! Thanks Roku!

Fantastic Streaming Solution

I purchased my first Roku 2 XS a year ago, and I must say it is the best streaming solution I own. I have two "smart" TV's and DVD players with apps. I have tried and found that the Roku unit beats all of them hands down. I purchased my 2nd Roku unit a week ago and both units are working flawlessly over a Wi-Fi network. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with a Roku streaming unit!

Makes Streaming Easy

We recently cut back our cable to the most basic package to save money as our cable bill was outrageous. The Roku 3 is perfect for us as we can use it to make up for our lost channels. I use if for the NHL vault (watch any game on a one or two day delay), for Netflix, and for WatchESPN (which I get with my Cox Internet subscription). It's just less hassle than using a smart TV or bluray player, etc., for streaming. Watching sports with a one day delay is not a problem for me since I own a business and am busy most of the time and catch up on games when I can. The Roku is very quick and responsive and the HD is great. I just wish more content was available directly through Roku and not tied to the cable monopoly. I miss a few shows like the first 48 on A&E. I wish you could subscribe to channels directly thru Roku, but sadly that is not possible at present. Hopefully some day.

Very pleased, finally cut the cord. No more expensive cable bills for programing I don't want. This is a must have for those who are sick of cable, and be sure to add plex channel,it's free.

I have had my Roku 3 for about 3 weeks. I love the media player! I installed over a thousand songs and photos. I like being able to listen to my favorite songs more than Comcast's music channels. The box is small and I use it Netflix and HuluPlus the most. My only real complaint is that it keeps freezing on me. I need to get up and unplug it and plug it back in about twice a day, and the audio keeps going out. If I unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in, I will get the audio back. The plug fits tightly so it's not that it is coming loose. I have a very high speed wi-fi feed so that's not the problem. Anyway, this is a big annoyance. But I love cutting about two-thirds of my cable bill and pledge to never go back. So I guess I will live with the problem.

I bought this months ago in an attempt to get away from the boring cable channels and because my PS3 was always being used. I love how easy it was to set and start using. And how more and more channels are coming available. Need to get a couple more for the other TV's in the house.
