Roku is the best way I've found to watch most of the shows I love. The only drawback is the lack of current movies and TV shows available for rent, though that isn't the fault of the Roku. We've saved $75 a month over Satellite.

Great Product for watching TV.

I bought my Roku two months ago and I am very pleased with all the channels that are available to stream to my Flat Screen TV. There are many channels available for almost every taste. The problem is how to choose what to watch when there are so many great movies and programs to choose from? That is the kind of product I enjoy!
I had a problem with my remote control at first and emailed the service department to let them know. The earbuds would loose sound on and off while I would watch TV at night. They sent me a new remote and that took care of the problem. So the service department is really on top of their game.
I would highly recommend the Roku 3 to anyone that wants to have almost all the channels that they ever could wish for. The Roku 3 is a very good product and with the remote, anyone who likes to watch their programs and not disturb anyone else, will find that this is the product to have.

I don't like what you've done with the Netflix play list, the reasons I bought the Roku 3 was that I was unable to read the movie information from across the room.. The apps on my Smart TV were too small, now the Roku is the same and you've removed the movie credits, why?
I like the ear bud connection on the remote but if I use it the batteries die in just a few hours.
Still the best streaming device out there.

I am a tech/gadget guy. As a matter of fact I co-own a audio/video retail store that does a lot of system design and custom installation. We don't sell the Roku box but our clients have them so I bought one to become familiar with it. I absolutely love it! Two main reasons, first being able to search all content providers with one simple search is awesome! Just last night my wife and I wanted to watch an Alfred Hitchcock movie and I found it available from four different providers in a flash. Second, there are some channels that I watch that aren't available via cable and I don't want to sit and watch on a laptop or desktop when I have a large, flat panel TV with a great surround sound system. I also own the other popular streaming device but rarely use it anymore now that I have a Roku.

After years of fighting with cable companies over lousy reception our daughter gave us our Roku so we could get rid of cable. Best thing that ever happened!!!! The streaming is awesome and we sure don't need cable to get what we need anymore. Best invention ever!!!!

Having now used the 4 big set top boxes (STB), i prefer the roku over them all. Google TV has two hdmi ports and USB in and a browser, but interface is slow and the machine locks up. Apple tv is terrible for anything but mirroring from ipad and chromecast has limited functionality and requires outside control (like android phone). I love roku interface and reliability of device. It would be perfect if it had a web browser and had better codex support for personal files

I'd recommend the Roku 3 to anyone, beats Apple hands-down. Can't say enough about the "3"! I also have the "2". Two great products, but the 3 has the edge.
