A Little Disappointed

I already have a Smart TV and a gaming console, so I can get Netflix and things like that. I mainly wanted something to get You Tube on my big screen. So you can imagine how disappointed I was when I learned that the Roku will not stream You Tube. Most of the other content really doesn't interest me. I don't understand why Roku doesn't make You Tube available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Product

The Roku is a great product. It's quick and easy. Alot of different channels are available. The only problem is that about a year later when I try to watch videos I get a purpdle screen that says HDCP unauthorised. Content Disabled. so I have to reboot the ROKU. ITS so annoying. Please fix this problem.

The product is great ---their support is lacking. I had several questions sent to them via emails and service requests and basically "we are looking in to that" is was what I got.
Now that I've got it set up and receiving all the channels I wanted. I do really think the Roku 3 is a great investment. I wanted cable in my detached garage but did not want to string cable all the way out to it. This is an excellent option.

We bought our Roku four months ago when we discontinued our TV service. We no longer feel tied to the TV schedule and are enjoying movies, documentaries, and news with little or no commercials, all at our convenience.

I love Roku some much I bought 2 for myself and put one in the bedroom the other in the family room. I bought one for my son and another one for the grand-kids. We all love Roku and usually watch programming through streaming vs. cable. Great product!
