I bought my Roku months ago. My family and I barely watch cable programming any more. With Roku, we are able to catch up on programs, tv shows, watch movies that we haven't seen in years, etc. It is great!

Super easy to use and set up. Should have bought one ages ago. Didn't think I could use streaming since we had some old TV's that didn't have a HDMI port. With Roku, it comes with the cables that plug into the back of the TV. Now I'm streaming. Yeah!

Very Impressive

I was skeptical how well a streaming box would work on my HDTV. I expected marginal quality that would improve over time. I'm glad to say I was wrong. The picture is pristine, even watching older episodics produced in SD. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that it feels a little long to load the individual channels and login to them (Netflix, Amazon, etc.) I realize I'm just spoiled by instantaneous cable boxes and I'm really just waiting maybe 15 seconds. It's totally worth the wait, and I'm sure that lag time will decrease as providers improve their services. Save yourself thousands of dollars on premium cable channels and get yourself a Roku!

We bought the Roku3 - our daughter recommended it. Extremely happy with the multitude of venues available for free and pay options.
The search feature is awesome because it searches across many apps and lists choices of what you searched and the availability (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Pandora, PBS, etc.) and the cost Free/Price if not free.
The size is so portable and takes up little to no room. We love the Roku3 so much that we are giving it to Everyone on our Christmas List!

Good and fast....Netflix experience not so much

This is my 4th Roku and overall it's an impressive product. However, getting Netflix to work properly has been difficult. It has crashed the Roku 3 player 3 times in the past week. Video quality for Netflix not as good as previous Roku 1. That being said, the Roku 3 is a great device and I rely on it for more than 50% of my TV viewing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
