Roku 3 is the one to purchase

I have three Roku units, and find that the Roku 3 is worth the added cost when compared to the other versions. Picture quality is better, and the earphone feature makes late-night and early-morning watching a quiet experience for our household.

much faster than previous models

I have had this for a month or so and love it. This unit is much faster than my last model. I like that I can hook it up via Ethernet also. The remote is easier to use also since you don't have to point directly to the unit.

I bought the Logitech Revue years ago when it first came out and used it to stream all my media from my server until it finally died. My son told me about Roku so I thought I'd give it a try. This unit is outstanding. Love how fast it is and all the free movie channels that you can access. If you looking for a way to watch Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime this is the way to go.

I am so glad I switched to Roxu from cable TV. It costs less and I can watch more things in the genre that I like.

Best Product for Limited viewing of Commerical TV

Great product. I bought this because we didn't have access to Television signal or to commercial companies offering television. Set up was so easy that I'm sure anyone could do it.

Very easy to set up. Connected right to my WiFi router with no problem. Streams without interruptions. Has tons of Apps to choose from. I love the remote and earphones. I would definitely recommend the Roku 3

Takes A While To Get Used To, But AWESOME!

Got my roku 3 mo ago. Took about 2 mo to get used to it. Now? It's Awesome! I've got favorite channels, with programs I don't miss. You have to play with it and get used to it to take full advantage of it. Are the production values as good as network TV? Nope. That's part of the fun of it. There are a ton of channels here. you can even make your own channel and be a TV star!

Doesn't work right all of the time.

I bought as a movie streamer. If it worked like advertised it would be a great item. Streams movies sometimes, but locks up and reboots fairly often. Rarely make it through an I tire movie. Might be different if there was wifi? I do like the remote and ease of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
