I have had the Roku a couple of months and at the beginning the streaming was great on all but the 3-D Movies. Now the regular HD movies seem to be dropping and buffering constantly on several of the movies I have tried to watch.

I really love my Roku! You have quick access to all your favorite channels. I only have a few complaints that I see most others agree with...lack of YouTube and loss of network connection more frequent than I think there should be. Overall, I think this box delivers so much but also has so much more potential than what we currently see. I can't wait to see more!

Can watch Netflix, plus a lot of other movie sites. Can stream my personal photos & videos from my tablet and Ipod. Great for entertainment. Maybe in the future we will get live network channels.

I LOVE my Roku

LOVE it so much that I bought a second one for a different TV. Then I bought a Roku 2 for my daughter so she can enjoy it too! She doesn't have a high def TV. I'm hoping that someday we'll be able to watch instant streaming for more programs-like the local news. My husband insists that we still have Directv (at $100.00 per month) so that he won't miss the football games but I'm hoping that will be available on Roku in the near future.

Great device but some technical problems

I love the idea behind Roku. I cancelled cable and use Roku with hulu plus, amazon prime, and netflix in addition to a tv antenna to get a few local channels. The only downside to Roku is that it freezes quite often, almost always while listening to Pandora. It will suddenly stop the audio in the middle of a song and I can't get it back on unless I unplug and restart it. I have returned 1 device already for this but the second one does it too. I still like it but am frustrated by this malfunction.
