The Roku player is a quality and the way of the future in programing and viewing your favorite show. it would be great companies such has showtime and hbo to offer a way to purchase there programs true roku without having the need to have a cable subscription.

I bought the Roku 3 from Amazon about 6 months ago. I use it every single day. Set up was a breeze and it picks up the wi fi signal efficiently.
I especially like it cos it provides me plenty of streaming options. I watch live TV thro the Roku everyday and no complaints at all. I am very close to cutting the cord with my satellite subscriptions but even if I don't it gives me lots of newer options. Get PlayOn for the Roku and you can be in TV heaven. Just wish that more mainstream or specialty channels were available in the Channel store instead of so many--and I mean way too many religious channels. Waiting for the day when Oasis HD channel is added. All in all a great product that delivers every thing it promises

Good bargain

I live in a rural area with limited TV options. Fortunately I do at least have high speed internet available. I purchased the Roku 3 so that I could get out from under ever increasing expensive monthly bills from a satellite service. I'm currently subscribing to Netflix and get the Amazon channel as a free add-on to my Prime membership (which I already had for the product shipping feature). I mostly watch Netflix programming, but between the two channels I get more movie and TV programs than I have time to watch - at a small fraction of the cost of the old satellite.

Love the Roku. Features I like the best include the fast, clean interface; universal search across many content providers; and most of all, the headphone jack in the remote control! I can watch TV while the baby sleeps and not miss a word!

We switched to Roku about a year ago and have never looked back. It did take some getting use to but this product is awesome. It gives families a low cost alternative to cable or satellite television.

I have several Rokus but the Roku 3 is far and away the best. Provides enough space to have a lot of add ons and games. Picture and streaming is xcellent
