love the new Roku 3, easy to set up and use. Especially love the new control, with the ear phones. Comes in handy when up late at nite, and don"t want to wake anyone else.

I purchased the Roku 3 a few months ago and have enjoyed it very much so far. It's my first streaming box of any sort.
Simply put, it's really changed the way I seek entertainment. There are a ton of apps, some more useful than others. I use my Roku for watching TV series and movies via Netflix, Amazon, and a few other apps. A lot of my entertainment comes form YouTube, so I use the Plex app to watch videos from my favorite subscribers. I've been using the WatchESPN app recently to watch sports highlights, SportsCenter, and even stream a few live sporting events. Additionally, it's pretty easy to use your smartphone or the Plex app to play your favorite music.
It's lightweight and almost unnoticeable in your entertainment center. It's also very easy to pack when you're traveling.

My two main complaints:
1) I really wish there was a native YouTube app. It would be very convenient.
2) My remote has a weird tendency to need to be synced pretty often. That can get kind of annoying.

All in all, I am very glad I bought the Roku 3. I expect a Roku product or something similar to completely replace my cable subscription within the next five to ten years.

Of all the media boxes, the Roku 3 has the best bang for the buck. It has it all... small footprint, ease of use, great remote with a headphone jack, good content, nice interface and its fast...! What's not to like? As an added bonus, check out Netflix's new interface on the Roku 3.

This is an amazing little device. I dont see a reason to pay 2-3X the cost of a Roku to get a smart TV. The Roku is probably more capable.

I love my Roku. I bought my parents one two years ago and finally got myself one about 9 months ago because they loved theirs so much. Yes, it is well worth it! Combine PlayOn with it and you're good to go! So easy to set up and the RF remote is great if you have an audio closet in a remote location.

I had one of the first roku's that came out and have placed that one in my guest room. The Roku 3 is so easy to use, the remote is awesome, much better than the first one. I am no computer geek............so easy to hook up.......less than 3 minutes.........just lovin it!

Loved our roku so much we bought another for the guest bedroom. We canceled DirecTV after we got the first roku. It didn't take us long to realize that we no longer needed to pay $120 / month for DirecTV. Highly recommend amazon, Netflix and huluplus.
