For years, I went without cable just because I didn't see the value. Then a friend of mine was talking about and then showed me his Apple TV. I became interested in this technology and found out about Roku. I found out that the 3 was coming out soon and waited for it. I wanted it so badly, I paid full price and would do it again in a heartbeat!
There is so much to watch! New channels being added. Almost all of them update quickly and often. I had Netflix on the 360 and it is so much faster on the Roku. The Roku 3 is just amazing. The earphones option is another amazing plus! Keep up the Great work Roku!!!

Easy to Operate

I purchased this approx. 2 months ago. I love streaming Netflix and listening to Pandora right from my TV. It was easy to set-up and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Broad Based Internet TV Access

4th month of ownership. Great way to access a bunch of the internet TV programs if you have an older TV. Really like the wireless headphone remote. Now I can watch TV and disturb my wife's sleep. However, the remote has terrible battery life. I ended up buying rechargeable AA's. In the last 2 weeks I noticed that the sound cuts in and out while using the remote headphone feature. Because the sound cuts in and out as well as the poor battery life I gave it 3 stars.

Ease of Use and Smart function and flow

I purchase the Ruku after having owned the first generation of Google TV. I wanted a device that was simple after realizing browsing was not as seamless as on my computer. I resulted to only streaming movies but my options and choices for movies was a short list. I wanted something simple and Roku seemed to bill itself as such.
Roku has exceeded all expectations! I love the device!

I purchased this about two months ago and have been extremely pleased. The set up was extremely quick & easy. The User Interface is very nice & easy to navigate. I do like the remote that came with it but the great thing is that you can put the Roku App on your smart phone and use as a remote - very cool. Every once in a while something doesn't quite load right but that may be the specific content provider issue and not Roku. Overall...very pleased and would purchase again. Thanks Roku!

Love my Roku!

I first bought a Roku 2 and was immediately hooked. The Netflix and Plex apps alone make it worth the price. With a big TV and Netflix, it's like having your own home theater. Plus I love the new remote; having the headphones on at night is a bonus because I can watch anything at any hour without disturbing anyone else. The only app this is missing is a YouTube app but that's just a minor thing.

Best use of my money ever!

I bought the Roku after hearing it mentioned on The Adam Carolla podcast. I was mainly looking for a way to run my NETFlIX through my TV instead of using my bluray. I didn't have much hopes for it and was just blown away. Pretty soon I had every free channel, then signed up for HULUPLUS (also heard about it through the podcast) and have never looked back. Within a month we ditched cable. Best part of it all is the way the product is setup. The remote is simple (4YO already can run it) and I love the earphone jack for when I'm watching something scary. Just the best thing I've bought in years.
