Great Device, Ok Channels

I've had my ROKU 3 for a few months. The dual band wireless makes a huge difference in loading speed from your Smart TV or the smaller ROKU's.
What I would tell a new user is this device will not replace your cable or dish. Many of the TV series channels require you have a television service otherwise you will be watching episodes that are weeks to months old on channels such as Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Seamless Streaming

I had been keeping my eye on this sharp, and sleek little black box for a couple years. I finally decided to give it a try and all I can say is "what the heck was I waiting for". I love my Roku3. My Netflix account streams so much better and consistant now that I am not streaming from my laptop, and all the interanal resources of the PC are in contention for resources. I am thrilled with speed of out of box to streaming, and looking forward to channel shopping in the Roku Market.

Very Good Picture Quality

I have had my Roku 3 for a few months. I am really enjoying it. I have subscribed to NHL Game Center live and the streaming picture quality is better than I was getting on Directv with NHL Center Ice. The only drawback I have found so far is not enough real time streaming channels available, but maybe that will come in the future.

I bought a roku so that I would be able to stream Netflix better as I use a Wii now.
I was unable to find Netflix so went to support only to be told they are unable to connect to my region. So it's back to my Wii and I have a Roku 3 collecting dust

Audio goes out

Sometimes the audio goes out. I solve this by disconnecting the power and reconnecting.

Easy to use

I bought the Roku 3 three months ago and do like all the features. The one thing I wish is there were more free apps. I bought it and turned off my basic cable and just have the High Speed Internet for live streaming. Don't get me wrong, I do like Roku 3 very much, however, I had to purchase Hulu Plus and other apps to view TV programs and commercial free movies. I do wish Roku had a free app to watch live ESPN sports such as college football and the NFL channel.

I Am Very Pleased With Roku

This is the third Roku I have bought. I lost my first one during a move, then bought a replacement. Eventually I bought a smart tv for the family room, but the apps were horrible. So, I bought this Roku and am happy again! One other thing: Roku's apps are updated very quickly. While I waited for apps or upgrades to my TV, they never came. But, Roku has always been quick to update.
I would recommend this to a friend!
