the roku3 is good , but there are a few things to improve on it ,like a switch/button to turn on/off the roku3. Also a parental setting option.

I bought the roku 3 a few months ago and have loved it ever since. I have have now got rid of my cable provider and now watch my shows on netflix hulu and amazon.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great alternaltive to cable/YouTube Channel Please

I have had the Roku 3 for three month and the family enjoys it a lot. My kids love PBS Kids and the other family friendly channels. My wife bought an Amazon Prime account and we have been enjoying its content. We also use Crackle, PBS, Vevo, I Heart Radio as well as others. I have two complaints. The game are over priced. I feel $4.99 for Galagna when it is free online is a bit much for one game. The other BIG channel missing from the Roku is Youtube. Please Roku work out a deal with Youtube if possible and you earn 5 STARS. A Roku with a digital antenna (for local channels) would be a great alternative to paying for cable. Still need an internet connection. The Roku's WiFi works well, but I hooked up my Roku with an ethernet cable. In my house we have a lot of wireless devices and the Roku stays put under the TV, so no reason not to run a cable to it and lower the pull on the WiFi.

Easy to use

I have bought this product about 2 months ago. I do not have cable but I have Hulu Plus, Netflix and Amazon Prime. This product has eliminated my need for cable and it has an excellent picture if you have high speed internet. My Fiance says this is the best purchase I have made all year!

Internet tv is the future and Roku is a step up on everyone. With so many channels to choose from and no buffering you can't beat it. I have purchased a Roku for everyone in the family.

Good Almost Great

For streaming content nothing beats it. It does not promise to deliver media over a LAN but I wish it did. I have a NAS with 2 TB of media and it is pretty much inaccessible. I have found PLEX hopelessly buggy, Chaneru extremely limited. If Roku ever develops a "My Media" channel that works well this will be as indispensable as a TV monitor.
