I bought this to upgrade my streaming experience. I was previously using an internet ready dvd player. This is sooooo much faster. Easy to set up. Easy to use. No complaints.

Seamless streaming

Debated upgrading from Roku gen 1, glad I did. Unit is faster and remote is not line of sight, so point it anywhere an the Roku responds. Remote head phone jack is also handy.

Better than TEVO

ROKU enables you to watch your TV stations when you want, at your leisure. There is so much you can do with ROKU, and it will only get better as it becomes more well-known.

Great streaming device, bulky remote

This is my third Roku. I like the built-in Ethernet port; I missed that on my Roku 2 XD. I don't like the Roku 3's bulky "Enhanced Gaming" remote that moved the OK button out of the middle of the arrow keys. The remote on the Roku 2 XD was thinner and easier to use (with OK in the center of the arrow keys). Overall, I'm a big fan of Roku, and the Roku 3 is a solid device. I just don't care about playing games on it, so I'd rather have a simpler, smaller remote. I'd also rather pay a little less for it (e.g., if they used a simpler remote and didn't include an Angry Birds license). If I want games, I'll buy a real gaming system.

Missing my Logitech Revue

Bought this thinking I could retire my Logitech Revue, but then discovered that there isn't anyway to surf the net with this device. . I really liked the web access and RF keyboard of the Revue and just figured it would be the basically the same thing, it isn't. Bummer.

Once in a while it hangs up but unplugging and reconnecting to eoec fixes it easily. Not a problem.
