The main issue I have is with the channels, I would prefer to know up front if something is free or not. I don't want to waste my time on something that i think is free to find out i need to pay for each video. If i have to pay for a video it's not free I will never to subscribe to a service that lies up front because what is to say they wont later on as well.
The above isn't a major issue as that's not why I bought it, I leave music on for my dogs and wanted an easy way to stream from my computer without having to connect.
I installed plex and running home movies is a breeze, no need to connect my computer to the TV. I would prefer some more codex support but it does a majority of the ones I use.

As for the device it's nice and small so I can hide it easily, a little too round for my taste as I would like to stack equipment. Maybe thin and flat like a DVD case would be nice since it only needs a network port and HDMI.

I bought this a month ago, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very easy to set up and use. I watch Netflix primarily. I chose a screensaver, listen to the music I like, kids channels for the grandkids, news, and weather channels; all free except Netflix. My daughter had the original Roku. I liked hers, so I bought the new Roku3. With headphones on the remote, my husband can have the volume loud when I don't want to hear it. The volume control on the remote only works with the headphones, though. I would like to control the volume on the Roku remote without the headphones, too. Now I must use the TV remote to control the volume.

I have enjoyed Roku for a couple of years. It's a great way to watch content that I have on Netflix & on HBO. I only had problems a couple of times when I couldn't stream a movie ... probably my internet connection ... but lately I've had only 100% success with Roku. Great product!

This is the best experience I have ever had with a unit that gives me this much enjoyment. I have always enjoyed going to the movies, but I no longer have access to this pleasure. My daughter mentioned to me that this might be a good way to spend my leisure time in an enjoyment I had always preferred. It is the best suggestion she could have ever given me. I am truly a VERY happy ROKU CUSTOMER.

Just bought this a week ago. I haven't stopped playing with it yet. Great line of channels with a really good variety of movies and shows. I watch movies about 12 hours a day and still haven't had to watch the same show twice. Great quality for such a little box.

this was a birthday gift. Didn't think I needed a new media play until I tried the Roku out...it's great! My only disappointment was that I could not get YouTube, but I quickly found a workaround.

I bought 3 units last month one for myself and 2 as gifts. I have used it for watching movies/news from Netflix and many other streaming companies. Also I like the the feature to put USB stick with my photos on the site of the roku, and to be able to listen to music or movies with my earphones connected to the remote control is a nice feature.

Great reception, fast smooth channel changing. I had issues with the Roku 2. Who needs cable TV after getting this? Not I! Cut my cable bill from 130 a month to 50 bucks! Including Nexflix and Hulu. Yup, it's about time!
