Fantastic Product

Our household now has 3 and we no longer pay for cable tv! It allows each family member to watch to their particular preferences and eliminates any fighting over what to watch. Very easy to set up and within minutes you are ready to watch to your hearts content. I'm so sold on Roku that I just sent one to a dear friend for xmas.

Great alternative to cable!

I got fed up with my BASIC Cable not working & went out and bought the 3. Eventually I got my cable working but I honestly use my Roku more! It had all the channels I need for when my 3 year old niece comes over - all her favorite Disney shows are on there. I can watch my favorite TV shows commercial free. Movies are easily accessible. I watch TV in my living room a lot more now that there is always something on I want to watch! I like it so much I went out & bought a 2 for my bedroom! Only have cable now so I could get a good "package" rate on my internet!

Fastest Streamer on the market

Stays on in the background and is almost instant on. Excellent picture quality. Fast search with many services although most require a subscription to use. Many movies if you are an Amazon Prime customer. This hockey puck sized streaming device is much faster and reliable than blue ray player streaming. Highly recommended.

We unplugged cable and plugged into our Roku 3 and I cannot tell enough people how happy we are with this so far. This is easy to use and set up. Plug in and sign up for the channels you want to watch!! Don't wait any longer the money we are saving each month paid for this player already!!

Roku 3 and the Plex plugin has been the missing piece to my digital media collection all these years. I can now store all my media on a NAS and watch my movies without transcoding directly to my TV!

My New Roku 3

I purchased the Roku3 so I could watch all of the blue-ray disc movies that I loaded into my Vudu / Ultraviolet linked accounts on line. I use the Roku3 in my master bedroom. I am a Disabled Vietnam Veteran with spine injuries and I live in bed much for the time. I own hundreds of blue-ray movies and enjoy watching all of them. By using the Roku3, I don't have to get in and out of bed and load my movies into my blue-ray player. The Roku3 is connected to my surround sound system and my 40" LED TV. The picture and sounds are great using the Roku3. I'm so pleased with this unit even though I haven't had it very long. Hurah!

So simple

I am a 70+ year old woman who can usually figure out how to work something electronic. This was the easiest of anything I've tried. It was delivered to my door at 4:30 and by 5:00 it was connected and working! I'm able to watch streaming video and the result is fantastic. No jerking, stopping, or anything else that would be annoying. It's hanging on the back of my tv so I don't even see it. I love this!
