can't be beat

The main reason i bought the roku was for the MLB package. Online package is only 60% of the cost my cable company offers it. works great 1080 HD . it may have slight lag time on actual game but still brings my MLB package and saves me money. I also enjoy red box and Netflix among the huge list of other channels offered,

Only problem I've encountered is that I have 2 Rokus for 2 different TVs. When one Roku is active on living room TV, the bedroom Roku keeps losing its power. When living room TV Roku is off, the bedroom Roku works very well. I need to call Netflix tech to ask him for a solution, if there is one.

Love My Roku

I love my new Roku. Got everything I stream (Hulu, Netflix, HBO Go, Pandora, etc.) in one convenient place! I only wish the remote had a volume button for my TV when I'm not channeling sound to my home theatre. Otherwise, it's a home run!

I spent a lot of time debating between Chrome cast, Apple TV, and Roku when I updated from my DVD Player w/ Vudu and Netflix Apps. I originally tried Chrome cast but returned after a week. I then went for the Roku 3. I love it when it works, many times it freezes or the remote just stops working all together. Every few days I have to unplug and restart it. Love it when its working but it has been having many issues in the few weeks I have been using it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had an older Roku and it was so slow. We upgraded to this one and love it. It is super fast and easy to use. Love it!

Whoever invented this is a genius! It's extremely simple to connect and set up, and it beats the life out of having to pay a monthly service fee to use the xbox for streaming. It has a tiny footprint, so you don't even notice it. The remote control and user interface are very intuitive, and the streaming is flawless with our AT&T U-Verse service. Will be buying another Roku 3 for the upstairs TV.

I said ByeBye to cable and bought this wonderful 3 by 3 black box. It's more than I expected. It has an endless variety of shows to watch and the sound is far better than cable.Now if I can figure a way to watch the Doctor Who special........

I bought this to put in my home theater so we no longer had to use the PS3 to watch streaming content. Love the power savings compared to the PS3, the heat the PS3 throws off and the extra power were just not worth it for watching movies, Roku solved both issues. I also have a Roku XS, I love the 3 though it is way faster.
