Great performance for such little device

Roku 3 - not quite perfect, but very good

Extremely easy setup, good throughput on wireless network connection and the quality of the video was excellent.
Not so great on the app selection and one evening had a situation where the video worked fine on Netflix and Amazon, but then the sound was like listening to someone talk on a recording at an extremely slow pace, which obviously did not match the video.

great product and lots of important apps

The product is great and does everything it suppose to do. The 5x speed statement on the box isn't just a statement guys! it is actually extremely fast in streaming videos even videos from vudu and hulu which are mostly in HD 1080. I do wish there is youtube and internet browser apps though. I am sure it will get updated later.:)

I really like the Roku 3, even compared to a PS3. I mostly used Netflix and Hulu on PS3 and the Blu-ray player, and less occasionally gaming. Sure the Roku doesn't do as much, but it sure gives it a run for its money.

My wife bought this for me as a birthday gift and I love it. It is by far the best media streamer out there hands down. I work in the audio video installation industry and I have seen many media streamers and this one has the best interface, speed and features of any out there that I have seen.
The feature of being able to plug in the earphones and wirelessly listen to the audio is at least worth $100 IMO. Just getting a high end reliable audio transmitter is at least $100 at the low end and more like $250 at the high end.
The interface is great and the ability to add tons of "channels" has been great.
I have only had this for one month and I have already used it to stream 5 or 6 movies and two whole seasons of a TV show.
I would really recommend this over a smart TV. The Samsung smart TV interface is the best out there but is much slower and less intuitive that a ROKU.

I bought my Roku 3 about a month ago and I love it! Setup/installation was a breeze, and I was up and running in no time! There are plenty to channels to choose from that I barely ever watch cable tv anymore...and for the price, you can't beat that!!!
