I'm slow to upgrade computer stuff etc., and will not pay for cable. I'd been watching streaming Netflix on a vga computer screen. I was slow to learn that wifi was something you installed and not something you paid for via the phone company. I finally set it up and bought a Roku with my next paycheck. It is so awesome. I love having so many viewing choices at my finger tips, without putting out dollars for cable. It is sweeeet! I am very happy with it. ;)

I bought Roku 3 to stream DishWorld to my TV, and now we do not watch my Satelite TV, rather all the time we are with our favorite Roku 3, playing DishWorld or Netflix or Amazon Instant or ESPN Watch. This was our best selection of the year.

Haveing bought this a month ago I was disappointed to find you can not receive the disney Channel and the espn sport the only channel I use for now is netflix so overall not good you need these channels for the uk Aswell plus more

This is a great device. It offers plenty of alternatives, and when combined with another service like PlayOn, you can watch network and some cable TV stations without the high cost. I have one for each TV in our house.

Connects to the Amp in my home theater system.

Although I had internet connectivity through my TV, I couldn't get the sound to go through my home theater system. The Roku solved that problem. I hooked the Roku to my amp and now I have great movies and great sound as well.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was at first reluctant to purchase the item, but I am sure glad I did. Every feature has performed perfectly, although I admit I don't use it for games.

I first had NeoTV Prime and switched to the Roku 3, so glad that I did! There are so many free channels I never have to be bored with nothing to watch because now my possibilities are endless! Also it features the ability to watch files from a usb flash drive that even supports .mkv files!
