I got my Roku3 about 3 wks ago. The setup was very easy and I was streaming in no time. I really like the product, very small, easy to use remote...which is all very nice but, Where's the YouTube? How come there is no You Tube app available? This really needs to be rectified because if you plan on continuing to compete in the streaming market, I would think it would be in your best interest to work out some sort of deal with YouTube so that you can make your product completely awesome, otherwise, you're just another mediocre gadget that can be easily replaced with a much cheaper version...i'm just sayin'
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the Roku 3 over a month ago in hopes of cutting the cord to satellite, and with all the channel choices available I been able to do so, and save over 60 bucks a month in satellite fees.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than cable

This box can things that cable or satellite won't yet, Like anime shows and tv shows you can't find. If you have good internet you can watch movies without returning that
DVD or BLUE-RAY back . It small size is good for any space of home you have but the neat thing about roku 3 it has a headphones that goes in the remote for night watching.
Need to update roku 3 for the most thy give out like news, movies and private channels! Must have a tv with a HDMI connection plus need to buy the HDMI cable for it. If you a Huluplus or a Netflix and red box fan your in luck install the app and watch tv again.

But the unit heats up don't cover it up, this unit is $99 but I did I see it for less.
No Youtube thy have a block on it. But thy have daily motion almost similar to it.

Never half to run PS3_4 or the Xbox console ever, Easy to use, even Grandmother can use it.

It does everything (almost) that I had hoped. I particularly like the ability to plug headphones into the remote. My only quibble is that I wish the buttons on the remote would light up for a few seconds when in use so I don't have to fumble around in the dark.
