Great unit for the home. Full features and easy to use.No problems and simple to use.Grandkids love it. Can't wait to start cutting back on cable.

Believe it or not, roku and xbmc are fostering the creation of shows and movies that require talent and skill. This will work for the news networks as well since nobody will pay 2.99 for a garbage channel that only exists now because people are forced to pay for it through current buy all channels overpriced cable service . The only thing it needs now, is support for old game console emulators. Snes,nes, sega, etc.n

i bought my roku about a month ago and am kicking myself for not learning about it sooner. this is a fantastic thing. so many more choices than cable tv and does not cost me thousands a year in cable costs. thanks for helping me cut the cord.

Better than ever

I had a Toku2 which I loved but my daughter decided she needed it, so I bought the Roku3. I didn't think it need improvement but the 3 surpass what I was expecting! This is the best way to watch TV.

I have 2 of the Roku 3 players that I use as Plex players.
They work great with Plex and replaced Mac Mini's that I was using.
The only improvement I would ask for is the ability to program the remote so I can turn the TV on and off and adjust the volume.

Magic hockey puck

This thing is phenomenal. I know I'm living in the future when I can replace my big honking media PC with a shiny little fanless hockey puck that does all I need and with crazy low power consumption and a clean interface. I highly recommend using Plex if you are an avid downloader of TV/movies. Netflix works great. Wired connection is a huge plus for me. If I could just get a "dumb TV" now it would be great, but they're all "smart" these days, features you will never use if you have a Roku.
