Excellent system

We have two Roku 3 systems , one upstairs, one downstairs, the programming is great, flawless operation, highly recommend it.

Disappointing

I like to stream movies, NetFlix, YouTube, HBO Go, and Pandora to my TV. Was using a balky Sony Blu-Ray player (which couldn't handle HBO Go) and so I chose the Roku over Apple TV and Chrome Cast. It works fine sometimes, but it pushes you to view things you don't care about, its interface is better than Sony but still not good, and about 25% of the time it balks at HBO Go - I need to unplug it to reboot. Worth having, but not asgood as it needs to be. And, it can't stream YouTube!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Different Way To Watch TV

I purchased a Roku 3 for my main TV. With Netflix and the orginal programming they have to offer for $7.99 a month and HBOGO I think it is a great value in addition to my Home Theater System. I mentioned 2 channels out of many available. I liked this unit so much I purchased a second one for the TV in my office. I do not by DVD's any longer with the amount of streaming Roku has to offer.

Awesome; Reliable; Cost-Effective

I have had my Roku 3 for over 9 months. It was unbelievably easy to setup and start using. It did lock up twice during the first week of usage, but rebooting and upgrading Wi-Fi has made it work without fail for 9 months. It's easy to move to other TVs and I love the earphone feature for watching in bed without distrubing my spouse. For the cost and portability, it can't be beat. I have terminated Cable/Dish subscriptions and rely only on my Roku and Local Antenna. Highly Recommend.

The entire family is very happy with our Roku 3, we don't know what we did without one in the past. In fact, we bought a 2nd unit for the bedroom. Easy to setup, easy to use. Lot's of channel content.

The ROKU 3 HD product version is the best way to go. It has everything you need and is a great value. I highly recommend this ROKU to others looking for streaming internet TV.

At first I didn't like it very much but after a week or so I liked it more and now I love it and am very happy that I bought it. I highly recommend the Roku3!
