Fast easy setup

I bought this two months ago and love it. It is my second ROKU and it works GREAT! I was afraid there might be a conflict but it works. I plan to get another ROKU for another room but I could also move it to another room very easily.

Great for a cord cutter!

I just graduated college and took a low paying job that I LOVE, but doesn't allow me to factor in pricey cable to my budget. I bought the Roku 3 to replace cable and it has worked out great. It was a breeze and so quick to set up. The apps are great, and I love that I can play games on it too for some variety. Don't forget about the hidden apps too! There's some good ones out there!
The only downside is that most apps worth having require a monthly subscription. Usually the cost is about $8/mo for the good apps, but that can add up if you have a bunch of them. I just have Netflix and Aereo (highly recommend both!) and that's all I need! PS: Even if you do have cable, the Roku is great for playing Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc. through your TV if your TV isn't capable of hooking up to the internet.

The roku 3is agreat little player. It can play whatever I have given to it. The only thing it has à problem with is 1080 movies from plex server. It sputters a little, but if on a hard drive. It works great.

What's not to love?!

I bought two Roku 3's and two Roku first gen. I put one on every TV in my house. They are great. I sort of wish I had spent the extra for Roku 3's on all of the TVs. I love having earphones on the remote. I also love being able to stream my pictures and videos off of my smartphone directly to my TV. My neighbors are very impressed!

I bought my Roku so that I could what Amazon Prime instant videos, and so that I could access Pandora and iHeart Radio on my tuner. Very easy to use and does all it's advertised to do.

The ethernet port is well appreciated in my apartment where wifi is crowded. I've caught it freezing occasionally, but generally it's always ready to play something in an instant's notice. I'm glad you can use your phone's keyboard for typing.
