My Roku 3 is far and away the best money I have spent for any electronics lately. It is very simple to install, even easier to work and always working to expand its library of channels.

Great device

I bought this 2 months ago and so far I love it. The device is very fast with a great interface. This will someday evolve into something that will allow you to completely cut the cord, but the content isn't there today unless you are a very TV minimalist.

We ditched cable and have been using our Roku with great success. It's easy to hook up and easy to use. The only thing it lacks is support for Google services (Youtube, Play Music/Movies, etc).
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great purchase if you are willing to pay for some of the services. I already had Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu Plus accounts and was looking for a way to watch them all on my TV. I am a PC gamer so I didn't want to buy a console. I don't have cable, so getting a more expensive set top box or Tivo that would allow me to watch all of that was pointless. AppleTV's are nice, but their app choices are limited, and I don't use apple computers at home.
The Roku has been perfect. It took about an hour to get it set up and connected to all of my accounts. There was a little bit of trouble having it find my wireless router to connect to it, but other than that setup was a breeze. The picture quality is great and when it's bad it's not the Roku's fault, it's because of a bad internet connection.
It's easy to use and has a large number of "channels" available. I also installed the Plex Media Server on my home PC so that I can stream all of the content I have on my computer through the Roku.
All in all this was a great buy for me and lets me watch the things I want to watch while still being cheaper than a cable package.

Able to cancel my satellite

I like my Roku and I'm sure I'm not using to it's fullest yet. However, one thing I noticed is it sure uses up the batteries!

Good Product but very limited live streaming

I bought this product with the anticipation that I would be able to stream live news. There are a couple options but they aren't that great. The player is great and is easier to function than my AppleTV. My complaints are completely content related. FoxNews isn't available a lot during the day.

The Roku is easy to configure and the amount of content available is almost overwhelming. Definitely saying 'Good-bye' to satellite.
