Thank you Roku. We have now parted ways with our $90/mo satellite TV bill. One thing I would mention is to do an internet search of private Roku channels...we found a lot of great family friendly channels available with a code. Setup was a snap, my Amazon Prime Membership allowed me access to 1600 different programs immediately. They also have international channels which is great for my multilingual husband. A++ for Roku!

More free TV than I could ever watch!

I bought this about a month ago because I had been sick & tired of regular cable TV; especially the FACT that on average there is 10-15 minutes of commercials in a 30 minute show. With my ROKU there are some commercials, but nothing like cable TV. If I wish I can and did subscribe to NetFlix for around $8 or $9 a month and there are no commercials PERIOD!!! All for under $150 a year, compared to cable, which comes out to over a GRANT!!! Getting a ROKU is a no brainer.

Roku works as advertised. The apps work well except the Time Warner - this app works intermittantly.

Each Media Device has a few good uses and a a lot of useless features. Roku helps fill the gap where the others leave off. The interface seems a little dated and it's hard to tell if an application is worth the time to install unless you try it first. Most apps seem to be pay as you go or subscription. It just boils down to another device to plug into the power strip while trying to find some way to get everything you want out of a single device. Good try though!

I bought the Roku 3 about a month ago and I have to admit that it is the best streaming device out there. The coolest feature is the headphone jack on the remote, it does come in handy at night. Very simple device to setup and use. Overall it is a great device and I have no complaints up to this point.
