Recently purchased this device(about a month ago). Extremely satisfied and it is one of the best "gadgets" I've purchased. Easy set-up and works extremely well. Variety of content available. Highly recommend this unit.

Easy setup coupled with very compact device. Adding services such as Plex makes this a fantastic device to use for streaming movies and music. Best $100 I ever spent.

Loving it! Though I thought there would be more free current/popular content. But, cheaper than cable, and I don't have to tie up my computer streaming directly to the TV.

Fantastically Simple!

When there is nothing on regular TV (which is quite often) I have found the perfect alternative - ROKU! This small device has everything I was Looking for: ease of setup, Enormous amounts of content and low price. I was up and running a month ago and still haven't been able to sample all of the available channels.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great option. Better than cable. My uncle always complaint about cable, from the high bills to many commercials. He asked me to write the review for him to express his gratitude, even for the thank you note you guys sent, now cable never even said thank you. they always just asked for more money. Me and my uncle love the service. never seen him so satisfied with a service. Keep it Roku and netflix too. We love you.

Worth The Update

After running a Roku 2 XD for two years I had been putting off upgrading to Roku 3, though it had taken a force of will not to just get one, because it was the latest. I finally decided to take the plunge and I can definitely recommend it. It's much faster and just all around a better performer. In my case, it was the first time I was able to use a Ethernet connection and that's what I'm using and will likely stick with. I really like this device!
