I got about a month ago and for the most part im disappointed. This review might be biased because i was looking for something closer to just a HD Media Player and i was a little disappointed finding out that it plays only 2 video types and even worse most of the mkvs i want to play on it usually have issues and can play. But the most disappointing is that itDoesnt have Youtube.
So what would be i nice improvement more codecs for different video types and Youtube.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought rhe roku 3 . wow! What a great way to enjoy movies many are free and its gives you the latest tips for so many things, tech tips, food,excrise and many more. Yes you can cut your cable for Roku provides acces to netflix amazon prime hulu plus and many more.

Fast, easy to install land overall a great mafia stream, only low point is that I live in Canada and I just get a fraction of the channels the USA have. I hope eventually we get all these channels.

Roku 3 Streaming Player is a very good device. Picture and sound are received without any interruptions and with great clarity. Functions of the device are easy to use. I would recommend anyone who enjoys streaming movies to invest in the Roku 3. You won't regret it.

A Child Could Install It

I have wanted a way to stream movies and things from the internet to my tv for YEARS. I don't own a Wii or play video games, and didn't want a bunch more wires string between my tv and computer. When I say the ad for this, it sounded too good to be true. I went to my trusted Amazon and read the reviews, and decided to take a chance. I can tell you I am SO glad I did. I have raved about Roku to everyone. It was set up and bringing in Amazon Prime in 10 minutes, and I have hardly watched regular tv since. No wires, no programming, no fuss. I just love it. You can't lose!
