Fantastically Easy to Set Up and Use

I love my Roku.... love the movies that it provides and how easy it is to set up and use. I have purchased 4 total for myself, friends and family. Even my most technically challenged friends had it up and going in minutes. And it is TINY. Isn't some huge clunky piece of electronics setting by my tv. Small and easily portable. Have taken it with me on trips and used it in hotel rooms. Love it.

I bought a Roku 3 player to use in my living room. It could stream Amazon Prime video and a lot of other things that the old Blu-Ray player I was using to stream Netflix couldn't do. I particularly liked being able to plug headphones/earbuds into the remote for private listening. I liked the Roku 3 so much that I bought a second one for the bedroom a few days later. A couple of days after getting the bedroom unit its remote started acting up. It would pop up the low battery symbol even though the batteries were fine. Then the Roku 3 unit would stop responding to it. Pulling the batteries and replacing them would get the remote going again, but it would soon go out again. A call to tech support got me a new remote which works perfectly. I was impressed by the knowledge of the tech support person and the speed at which I received my new remote.

I bought the Roku because I wanted to stream video without having to buy another video player. I love the expanded options with Roku and it's so easy to install. I recommend it to anyone who wants an easy way to stream movies.

My wife and I cut the cable almost a month ago and are not looking back. The Roku 3 is an excellent product for streaming without the wear and tear on you XBOX, Blu-Ray, or what ever. No bigger than two iPhones stacked on top of one another, the foot print is not an issue. Simple enough so that memaw and pep pep can use the remote right away. Highly recommended!

I bought this when it debuted, based on a Pogue review on NYT. They didn't even have Amazon VOD or Pandora back then, it was still great. So simple to use and set up, we are fans. We just bought the latest version for $85, free shipping and it got here in a couple days. I'd say it accounts for 95% of our TV time (movies, shows, music, TED talks). The latest remote comes with a place to plug in headphones, a now essential feature with a new little person in our household. The ease of use is especially appreciated, the GUI just works, very intuitive.

I bought it a few months ago, I started slow and then it started adding things on I like to watch. All of a sudden I watch it more than regular cable....COOL!!!

I received as a birthday present. I have antenna for TV. This has improved my viewing TV experience tremendously. Never knew I was missing out on so many TV shows, movies, documentaries, cooking shows, traveling shows, etc. I have watched very little regular TV in the last month. I watch mostly Roku now and I love it. Would recommend this to anyone interested in cutting cable/satellite costs. Extremely easy to use and customer service is outstanding. Helped with an issued right away and even followed up with me to make sure issue was resolved.
