Love this thing

As soon as I turned the ROKU on it worked like a charm. It was very simple to setup and as soon as I was connected to the wifi, it was On!!!! I love this thing, with the ease of use and so many choices to add to my channels, I can now just sit back and watch tv. And I'm not even much of a tv person. But with the ROKU , TV is again enjoyable for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just got this little genius of a machine. So happy with it. I am basically gonna have a funeral for my Blu Ray player at this point. So much faster, more efficient and more channels. Love the PBS, fast as heck Netflix, and UFC TV.

I have mine Ruku 3 hard wired into my router and I cannot tell the diference in watching it and the cable.

Very fast. Could use more video formats

The unit is very fast. I have mine connected via ethernet. Never had a drop out.

I would like to see more video streaming formats. For example, AVI is very popular.

A easy method of creating your own Channel would be nice. I would like
to setup a channel to allow Relatives and friends view pictures and stream videos
from my Synology Server. This might be solved with the an App I just found out
about called DS video. I believe it can accessed anywhere on the LAN and outside
the Land.

Almost everything I want

I bought this a few months back and primarily to stream Netflix and Amazon Instant Video. I was downsizing from an old (original) PS3 which still did everything I wanted but took up way to much space. This a great product with more channels than anyone could ever want.
However, If there is a draw back to this device its the lack of DLNA/UPNP media server support. I would like something similar to what the PS3 is able to do...Find the Media server (i.e miniDLNA) and play the video, without needing another computer to do the trans-coding. In the mean time, I currently use PLEX to stream my personal video collection that I have stored on a file server.
Note: New channels are being added all the time so there maybe something out there now, I just haven't had the time to look.

Provides all the core channels like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Fox, HBO Go and so much more. Has saved me a ton of money vs Dish and it takes up so little space. You can fit the Roku anywhere including right behind the TV (hook sold separately)! Highly recommend to any Cord Cutter wanting to eliminate Satellite or Cable but still wants to utilize the TV as their main monitor. You really don't need a TV with Apps when the Roku provides the same and more with far less investment.
