Solid but has issues

Decent product but has some issues. Freezes midway all mp4 movies. Some channels require cable companies cooperation (not entirely roku's fault). Decent up but slow on updates for some apps like with Netflix profiles (available on ps3 app months ago but not here)
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Simple Controls
Cons: Freezing With Mp4, Slow Updates

Great little box - GOOD Bye cable

We got rid of two cable box DVRs and after finding the shows we normally recorded, we have found we like this better. More control of what we watch and a bigger selection than a mid-tier cable package. Cable portion of the cable/internet bill is GONE and we are happier with TV than we were before.

Cons: No local news channels

I use the product because I cut the cable cord from Comcast. The design is sleek, professional and elegant. Sometimes it freezes up but that only happened a couple times.

Roku needs to support closed captioning

Roku needs to support closed captioning for the hearing impaired. Only Netflix offers this. You cannot use it on any other channels even though it's recorded with closed captioning. I did not know this when I purchased my Roku. Please consider adding this most valuable feature.
