Works really well with DishWorld. I bought it for watching online hindi channels. Do not have any choice of local/English live TV channels.

Always had incredible buffering delays during streaming movies from a major source. Roku3 eliminated all the problems

Great for streaming but missing 2 things

The Roku 3 is easy and intuitive to set up. Love that it has a wired/LAN connection. I took one star off because I really miss that we can't watch YouTube videos. Nowadays YouTube is THE main differentiator between Comcast's video-on-demand and streaming content. I hope that Roku can find some kind of licensing agreement with YouTube. I also miss that we can't use the various Netflix profiles and instead have to use a single watch list. All in all, this device is very well designed, and easy to set up and use.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design
Cons: No Youtube Viewing, No Netflix Profiles

After 33 years of viewing cable or satellite TV service, I have canceled my TV service and rely on Roku for all my TV viewing. I'll be saving $1000 per year.

I did a lot of homework before deciding what product to use. Really easy to use. No hype, Does everything it says it will. This product will eventually replace my cable.

Works great when it do not feeze and the control will not work. I have to unplug the unit sometime so it will unfreeze so I can use it.

After ditching DirecTv, we decided to go with the Roku 3 as a way to replace our traditional television. The interface is easy to use, the remote is simple, and the entire setup process was easy. I'm so glad I have this product instead of cable or a dish!
