Lower screw holding handle in place broke. No fix except to buy new door!!!!

Obviously a consistent problem with this model, and yes, the only fix is to replace the whole door for about $200. It looks terrible with the broken handle connections still on the door and we are about to sell our house, so I guess we'll be replacing the microwave all because of the cheap handle.The Maytag name used to mean Quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] AM VERY PLEASED SO FAR. IT HAS MANY FEATURES WHICH FACILITATES EASE OF USE AND THE CONTROLS ARE VERY INTUITIVE. THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS THAT THE KEYPAD IS A LITTLE DIM AND HARD TO READ WITHOUT GOOD LIGHT.

Microwave Leaks Water

My microwave leaks water after microwaving water. I know it sounds strange but there is a cover that fills up with water. I contacted Maytag through the phone and they could not help me.

This under-the-counter microwave is a solid performer with lots of features. The unit's buttons are pretty intuitive, so most people won't have to refer to the manual.The 1.5 cuft capacity is large enough for most microwaving needs, and the rotating table assures even cooking.The unit can be loud, however, both while microwaving (loud hum) and especially when the vent fan is on. The it's very loud.
I would recommend this to a friend!
