The swivel stand makes a great TV even better

You are going to love the quality of the image -- and with the swivel you can angle about -- sound is good too, but you may want speakers for movies-- Just love this TV!!

My home is full of Samsung and it is the highest quality and best durability of any Manufacturer of Electronic and household goods I have ever experienced. I have 4 TVs and a dishwasher at present and absolutely love them all.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, super sharp clarity.
Cons: sound is too low .

A good flat screen TV

Samsung makes a fine television at a good price. While there are some minor tech issues like flashing or rippling bright highlights in some of the images, and text letters which often get an additional dot in the center of closed letters, overall the picture is good with crisp blacks and sharp colors. Motion tracking is fine. The various screen ratio options seem to distort the image, though: squeezing it or flattening it depending on the ratio chosen. Perhaps one is supposed to intuitively know which screen size to select?
I would like to have more control over the sound, though. There isn't a way to increase or decrease the treble or bass, e.g. Most British sound recording is muted or muffled and this tv set can only increase the volume, so it isn't much help. Also, my ears are less sensitive, so a way to fine-tune the sound would be appreciated. The speakers do a good job, however. I'm thinking of getting some earphones to use.
The Smart TV function seems like a good idea. I used it for a subscription service's movies. My only complaint is how laborious it is choosing a letter at a time with the remote to complete the log in procedure. Too bad a wireless keyboard couldn't be added or something.
I'm a bit leery of the legs; they seem O.K. but I can't find a way to anchor them to the tv stand. I'm going to use a U bolt on opposite legs and hope that gives me piece of mind re tipping over when cleaning the screen, for example.

Apps are great-learning something new every time I explore. Picture quality is great-ease of operation the same. Hve been a Samsunbg fan for over 13 years- and this TV- my latest purchase- does not disappoint

This is a great TV

We really like this television set. One of the best features is the apparent depth of the picture. It looks 3-dimensional without being a 3-d set. It has excellent color and sharpness. It follows motion easily and clearly. We are still examining the "Smart" features and try new ones after mastering the basics.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, exceeded expectations
