Great TV

We researched and decided on a Smart TV as it gave us the features we wanted and things like Hulu are built in rather than buying another component.
This TV looks great in our living room. We like the nice finish and beveled edge around the screen.
The screen is bright,crisp and the colors are good. Love the detail in the picture, but not too much to make it look fake. Some higher end TV's actually had too much detail and seemed too Video Gamish for our liking.
The sound is good strait from the TV. We considered getting surround sound, but louder sound and base could be a problem in our apartment.
The weight was a non issue. I think it weighs less than 30 pounds. Its easy to move around and the stand it came with swivels.
This Samsung was easy to link to our Galaxy S3 phone and Tablet 8, and we enjoy the benefits of multiple devices. We can also use these as a remote to control and enter information to the TV.
The price is higher than some other brands but we considered that we would own this product for many years, and the better quality and linking ability to other Samsung devices was worth it. When it went on sale it was a no-brainer.
We have had this TV for 3 months and have not had any maintenance issues or breakdowns. Knock on wood.
My only complaint so far is that I can not find a "Playstore" in the Apps section such as the one we have on our phone and Tablet. We have been limited to the Samsung Apps store. That's why I gave it a "4" for "Features".. Maybe its me or a limitation of this TV. If its my inability to find the Playstore, then it gets a 5.

Love the 46" smart TV

I have not had my TV long but each day I see new things I can do with it ... I love this TV I would not trade it for any other.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

Pleased with the Smart TV Generation

I received this TV as a gift and wasn't sure the Smart TV features were worth the extra money.
Turns out they are being used, as much as, the regular TV. The NetFlix, Web Browsing, YouTube, and other applications are getting a good work out.
It took a while to adjust to the clarity of the TV's picture. Sometimes it still startles me.
I would recommend it to my family.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: instructions for hooking up a soundbar are subpar

I have had this TV for over 2 years now and have had no issues with it, it looks
great, easy to use, love the smart features. I bought it when they where
already selling the next model so I got a good price on it.

Just got one of this and I'm about to return it.
Picture quality is not that good. smart-hub freezes even with the new firmware and HuluPlus doesn't display Captions.
My advice, buy a non smart tv and a streaming box.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, no captions on huluplus
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I needed a larger screen for the room and it fits. needed the digital output for soundbar, and it has it. Smartv apps helps preserve life of other devices in the room. Love the picture and the smart apps on this tv.

LED vs. LCD

I originally owned a Samsung 46 inch LCD TV and absolutely loved it. It had a great pictures and sound with minimum manipulation of the settings. That TV malfunctioned after 3.5 years but was replaced under an extended warranty plan with a new Samsung 46 in. LED TV. I have had to manipulate numerous settings to even try and match the original LCD TV which still hasn't been accomplished and the sound has much less quality.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great TV

I have had this TV for 8 months. It did develop a problem with a power cable. I called Samsung and they arranged for a in home repair. The repairman was very professional and capable. He replace the cable for me and all it good! Great TV. Love the smart features and the way it connects with my Galaxy S4 phone and tablet.
