Great customer service!

I had previously bought SmartCode door knobs. Quite pleased, I added Smartcode Deadbolts three months later. For some reason I had difficulty adding SmartCode. Called customer service and in less than a minute a pleasant representative had our household all SmartCoded! Great for the kids.

Simple to install and easy to use

I have had this kwikset lock for over a year now and it has performed exactly as described in the paperwork. Good points are the ability to change codes and let family have access without carrying a key. We have not had any major problems outside of weak batteries. If there is one weak point it is that batteries are not cheap and you do need to replace them.

It is a good lock

I bought this lock 3 years ago. I had trouble with it and had to send it back three times. Recently the light for the buttons stopped working. I wrote about it on Kwikset Facebook page and they sent me a new one. Now that is a great company. When we bought our house in 2011 I replaced all the locks and door knobs with Kwikset door knobs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Two Homes One Key One code

Have been very happy with this product. I had a Weiser one in Canada and added a Kwickset one in the US. Found out they are not interchangeable but Kwickset rectified that issue without any problem.

Keyless entry is the best

I have had the SmartCode Electronic Deadbolt for 3 years. The lock has worked well. The light feature has not worked for two years. The locking and unlocking mechanism have worked well. Battery life is excellent. Keyless entry is that greatest. I don't even know which key on my keychain unlocks my door...

Easy Installation!!

This Lock was installed in minutes into the existing deadbolt cutout. The quality, fit and finish are exceptional. It's easy to program and a pleasure to use.

Awesome Style & Function

I have this lock on my front door. I love it. The Venetian Bronze is outstanding with my Old World Stlye door. It's staying completely new looking as well. I have the matching regular deadbolts on my other doors, and the matching handles as well. I installed everything myself!

I live alone and was looking for a way to secure my home that would make me feel safe. After searching the internet for advice I decide to give this product a try. It was easy to install, easy to key and easy to change the code. It automatically locks if my grandchildren forget to lock it. And beeps if it is not locked correctly. I feel very safe in my home now.
