Great lock, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to retirement I bought these locks for our office. Liked them so well I bought 2 for my home. I especially like the feature where they will lock themselves if we forget to lock the door. They were easily connected to our home alarm system.

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now installed 6 909 deadbolt units and 1 911 lever. I love the fact that we do not need to have a key when we leave. The smart key also allows us to key both houses the same and have 1 key that works for both homes. I did experience a couple of challenges, but calls to the help line resulted in quick resolution. The only negative comment I could make is that the help line is very busy and wait times are longer that I would like.
But I would like to end by saying that you make a great product at a very reasonable price..The Fact that I can install an electronic lock that has the smart key benefits makes it in my opinion the best value in the field.

Run around without keys!

Auto lock is Key (no key intended)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this on my garage entrance, it is perfect due to the fact that my garage is not attached to my house, the keypad makes for simple entry and I don't have to search for a set of keys to get in and out.
If I forget to lock up, not a big deal. Kwikset does it for me!!!
I have one on my main entry as well, I love it because I can walk the dogs and never have to worry about leaving the house unsecured or carry keys!!
Great product, want to buy some more, probably going to try the Bluetooth next.

GREAT LOCKS BUT SUPERIOR, UNCONDITIONAL SUPPORT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to repair a lock at my Tucson rental property. I phoned the Kwikset support line and they answered immediately. After just a few questions they determined the problem and shipped repair parts to arrive the next day. When making the repair I needed one more part and that came express as well. A great company is not simply producing great products. As a manufacturer myself I know no matter how hard we try, every product that comes off the line is not perfect. But having a dedicated team of customer centric , well trained and knowledgeable support professionals, like Kwikset has, provides the necessary back-up that even the best quality control team sometimes needs. Kwikset has it all and provides it all; fast, correct and gracious.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Automation Wonder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to automate my home. First I started with the lights. Soon after the switches and outlets. When completed I looked into locks. The first feature I looked for was integration. To say that the Kwikset lock integrates well would be an understatement. To date, with the help of Amazon, Smartthings, and IFTTT my locks are seldom touched. Yes, I have more than one. My locks currently lock when I am near my home, lock when I am going to bed or unlock when I am on the couch and someone rings the doorbell.
Yes, I am that lazy. Well not really, I just love technology. Now if Kwikset could only stop my electric company from administering blackouts or repairs all would be good. Since there is still universal key option, I can still open the doors.
Overall, the product is durable and its technology stable. My only request would be to have the lock swing the door open. I cannot say anything but "Well Job Done."

I have had this lock for about 2 1/2 yaers now. It seems to have developed a problem within the mechanism. doesn't always unlock. if you use the key its fine. maybe a gear inside might be going. batteries are new. Its the mechanics itself. Will try and call and see what kind of Support and customer service I get.
