Quickly programed all 3 smartcode deadbolt keys

HI,
I ordered three of the Kwikset smartcode deadbolt locks for my home and found them to be is a Superior Product and reasonably priced. It took about three minutes on each lock to program all three deadbolt key pads and working with the same key. Now, I can use the keypad or manually open all three locked doors in my home. I really like the features of these locks, anytime you feel the need the locks can be changed on my home in minutes.

The Kwikset smartcode deadbolt looks like a standard keypad deadbolt, but it's not, it's features are unique. A keypad for electronic operations, with an option to use one key to unlock all three doors in my home without going to the hardware store is fantastic. A few seconds on each programmable lock and your whole house works on the same key with the same or different access codes.
I will plan to purchase more of these locks in the near future.

Excellent Product Matchted to VERALITE

I bought this product with my VERALITE controller in June 2015. The product has as advertised and I have seen no battery drain. I must say the Vera controller and their FREE control web site are good. The VERA interface is a little clunky, but as you learn you way around, it is really good.
The one drawback on this product is the documentation is terrible. Using the VERA website identifies so many option that you do not see in the documentation for the loc. Example remote programing codes, time windows on codes, notifications of lock actions, etc.
! month in, I recommend this to someone who likes to tinker with technology. Not for a layman.

After a year....

Worked great for 10 months, changed batteries. A couple of months later it stopped working, checked the batteries and the whole inside of the battery case and compartment is completely covered in green acid stuff. Gues I will have to look for another lock, this one is dead!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Remodeled are locks several years ago and went this route. Works great and batteries last a long time. Really like the feature of setting a second code for when we are out of town and the neighbors watch our dog...easy in and out.

Love this lock!

Going on 2nd year of using this lock every day, and have only put in new batteries twice, counting the first set! Love the smart key feature that allows it to be keyed to a different key as needed, if needed. Also love the re-lock feature, use this all the time. If I'm in a hurry, I just run out, close the door and it locks itself 30 seconds later! You just can't beat Kwikset for dependability and ease of use.

My sister recommended this product as it was compatible with ADT pulse. Works like a charm. Have had for a few months and battery still good. My kids never get locked out anymore when loosing their keys. Easy to install by a "girl". LOL

Works great after 4 years

Bought this several years ago and its still working great. The keyless concept is awesome, no more lock outs, forgotten keys, etc. The product has been problem free, the batteries last a long time (estimate 9-12 months), and it works every time. Only problem I had is that I dropped the battery case after a couple year and it cracked. Ordered a new one through their website and they sent it out free of charge! Kudos to them, I fully expected to pay for it. Based on my experience I'd highly recommend this product.

Have one on a rental house, and it works okay. When you install this you must make sure the bolt is free and it's the strike from the knob that's holding the door. If there is any pressure on the deadbolt bolt, then it will just grind the gears and fail to unlock. The quick re-key feature is nice and I can easily rekey when a tenant leaves.
