Reliable lock

Works well...batteries need replacing often and lock is a bit sensitive if not lined up properly w the door...love the convenience of keyless!!!

Convenient security

We've had this lock for about 5 months now and we love it. No more fumbling for keys in the dark, no more worrying about a forgotten key. Punch in the code and you're in. Or, if you know you'll have your hands full, open the lock before you unload your car using your smartphone. LOVE IT.

We have had this product installed for several months and have been very pleased with the quality of this deadbolt. The finish, even in our very harsh Florida Keys environment, still looks like it came out of the box.

NO MORE KEYS I love not having to worry about keys. This is great for kids as they sometimes loose everything. They just have to use the code and they are in.
Love the self locking feature after 30 secs. I also love the ability to put in a temporary code for cleaning people or workers. Never again will I use a conventional lock on any property I have. Model # 909 in Bronze

Burns through batteries, and the mechanics are unreliable. Easy enough to install, but not worth it.

Batteries in our SmartCode products should last as long as a year, it sounds like yours is running them out much faster than that. We'll be forwarding your contact information to our consumer service team for follow up and trouble shooting.
Of course, your deadbolt is covered by our Electronics Warranty, so if we can't diagnose and fix the issues you are experiencing, we will be able to send you a new deadbolt at no charge.

Stands up to the elements

I bought this lockset several years ago for ocean-front door on Galveston Island. Salt air, humidity, rust, fog, hurricanes, this lock has withstood it. I'm so impressed with the durability of this lockset, I've installed on several other properties

Life changing

I purchased one since I love technology items and since I had a few roommates and didn't want to make copies of my key. I have loved mine so much I even purchased one for my parents. I screwed up my lock since I was in a hurry to install it and didn't realize my key didn't fit when attempting to use the smart key re-key. I contacted kwikset and they were quick to send me a new tumbler the very next day. Amazing company. Can't wait to upgrade to a Bluetooth lock hopefully with the ability to interact with Amazon Echo.
