Control panel Blinking and ice dispenser opens and closes

Complete unhappy with Magtag not backing there product. The control panel is a known problem that is being ignored and the consumer is suffering the consequences.

Faulty ice maker

Ice maker will not shut off. Turn off lever never works. Cont to make ice when bin is full. Unit has been replaced, but does the same. Very good refer, but ice maker a real pain by never stop making ice. Also poor design having to pull bin to get to turn off switch.

Terrific Refrigerator - the BEST we have owned!

We bought this refrigerator about eight years ago when we remodeled our kitchen and changed to stainless steel appliances. We had always had a side by side refrigerator so I was unsure about a French door. I will never go back to any other kind of refrigerator-freezer combination again. We have never had a single problem with our unit. I appreciate the warning beep when one of the kids leaves the door slightly ajar. Since it still looks brand new, I have no reason to replace it.

Worst appliance dont buy

I have had more problems with this refrigerator than any appliance I have ever owned. I replaced the mother board 2 times and now 6 months later it wont cool or freeze.

Poor Quality

I bought this refrigerator because of the Maytag' s name. Now five years later I an very disappointed of my choice when choosing a brand. The freezer stopped working and we don't have ice for two weeks. The compressor is making s loud noise. The top part of the refrigerator is not cooling. I thought that Maytag products will last longer, especially because of the price we paid. We called the Maytag repair line and the tech that came home simply said "it will be cheaper for you to buy a new refrigerator". Of course I'm very upset about having to buy a new refrigerator during the holidays. I will not buy another Maytag product.
